This doll was made in 3 parts besides the arms, if you want to make it a little bit simple just attach in the patter the tail and the body and cut it in fabric as one piece Sorry I am taking so long to do all this dolls but what happen is besides my lipoma in my arm squeezing a nerv I being doing a lot of side works for friends , they need cards for masalamas , thats the word in arabic to say good bye. I need to try to be in top of my game and finish this doll collection to start another project and have fun with our craft while we stay at home. hope everbody is safe and try to stay entertain getting creating with new things to do
This doll you will love to make is so easy and relaxing to colored , I am getting very chatty in my videos and I do not have anything less to talk in my blog now hahaha, I just hope everybody is well in this pandemic and stay home safe and crafting, I being doing a little of everything and I try to make more videos, but is always something that take my time away from doing this, plus like I mention in the video I have a Lipoma in my right arm near to my shoulder and is squeezing a nerve and it hurt a lot, but I can stop doing what I love that is craft, and find new things to play and experiment with colors and papers, I just hope I can go to the hospital soon and take this lipoma out of my body. also we are having so much fun with and app that make you drink water is call plant nanny every time the plant is thirsty you doing water, is good for me because somethings I get distracted and I don't remember to drink water for hours, we are competing in the family to see who have the bigger plant at the end of the week. well lets get created and make a lot of pretty things.

Well I continue with the sketches the I did , and I will continuo little by little until I make all , but for sure I will take a pause to play with other new toys , I could not resist to buy the new slimline die cut from mama elephant . because is a big card , just what I love. this Mermaid card is big , even the I like big I think is to big , but I leve it, I think is very good for a girl birthday. this card was so much fun to decorated and experiment, sometime we forget to do what we love just for fun. I hope you like her and wait to see the 2D and 3D doll I thing the are cute , not perfect but cute.
In this video I try to show you how to make this doll, sadly the video is not complete because I don't know how I manage to erase some parts, but hey we have 10 dolls to go and I hope not to erase anything else this doll is small I try to make her almost the same size of the one in the pattern, but when you do this type of doll the pattern always is different and for me is hard to measure how much the doll is going to measure when I finish her beside the card and the dolls you can make so much more , you can make the magnets, color her in a canvas or in a t-shirt, we might do that later on . but you can play with this patterns all you want, imagine making your owns, you will be more than happy to see your creations in things around your house. In this video is the continue of the first one ,here I explain the card making and the 2-D doll. The 2-D doll is easier because you just have to follow the outline in the moment you transfer the pattern to the fabric, them do the same with needle and treat. I hope you like this new project and you get to make at least one of the dolls.
The title say combine all because I will combine material techniques and all that I know to make this 10 dolls we star with the sketching and continue with the card making after that the 2D doll and them the 3D doll hope you like this series of videos and I hope I don't get to tedious and I hope we all together learn a little more about dolls and cards, maybe no something new but maybe something unexpected about my sketching they are not perfect but I make them with love , I love doll making I think is my top 1 from my top 5 hahaha i can't have top 3 is to much things the I like , I teach myself how to do what I do , and I wish someday I can take classes to make it a little better. I think is not wrong or write the way we make craft, I just believe is what you want to express with what you make and do it with your heart and with your style. when you sketch erase has many time has you need thats a good practice , and practice make differece , just have fun while you do it and used as a therapy, do not press your hands or press the pencil to much in the paper just go as loose as you can an created for the personal note , we are in Ramadan , we do not follow ramadan but out of respect we do when we are outside home , well now is not a problem , soon comes Eid another religion festivity in Saudi and people get to go and celebrated and most of the people travel , I guess not this year because we are getting ready for a 24 hour curfew for 2 weeks. I just hope all this work for people to get better and no more deaths. With this pandemic sometime I am happy, other times I am just crying and sometimes I get catatonic and sometimes I get political he he, but most of the time I get crafty and pray for this to be over. please stay safe wherever you are or whatever you believe, just take care of you and your love ones.

This time I get another moving box and made a country summer basket , That I think is good for a mothers day to complement another present Playing with cardboard I believe is a good option to make things that you want to do in wood, but you do not own a woodcutter machine I plan to make some magnets and some more stuff to decorate for seasonal occasions , I want to see how much more I can do and if I can make the cardboard to look not like cardboard. practice make difference. well this is a very home made crafty project, but I hope you like it at the beginning I was wonder if this project was a video worthy , but I already film and edit, and I say oh well lets put it up , and now the basket is in my door , I like it more every day . like I said in the video you can make it as big as you want or a small as you want in any color and wit any fruit or any piece you like , for a party for girls , it would be pretty color in pastel colors with polka dost and made a little doll face for the front and fill it up with candies and small toys as a goody bags. you can make whatever you want. I really really have a lot of fun in this project , because I play freely with my craft supplies , and I get to make a moving box pretty I talk during the whole video sorry about that, but remember you have a mute bottom and I finally remember the word I was looking for is ...symmetrical , thats the way you can cut the doll dress if you fold the middle and cut , the last video i forget a word also awning , and now is when I remember . I think you can make this with your kids , you just have to make the complicated parts and they can paint and glue I believe this is a good craft to distract yourself now the we have more time inside our house just welcome the mess the freedom to error and the fun. well I hope you like this with recycle base craft project in the personal , my son still in the hospital , but he is a lot better thank God , hopefully soon he will be home taking care of himself and not more Covid , I already hate that word , and i know hat is a strong word , but this word mean so many bad things I hope it disappear soon from everybody lives and we can be as before , it was not perfect but it was amazing. stay home, stay safe, just go out if is really really necessary , cover your face with a mask or whatever you have , be ready ,be prepare, be smart . This card wish you a good day we need it , and I hope it come to us all very soon I express the I want to used what I have in my stash , if you have not have this stamps because are old and you did not get the chance to buy them just get any new idea the I might give to you and apply to the stamps you have , of course i want moree craft supplies , but where I live is very hard with the situation , plus my mind is not to crafty right now , I live in Saudi Arabia , and we are ok here , but my sons live in USA , two in NYC , and one of my sons is in the hospital right now with the covid-19 we are very preoccupied at the moment because he have a previous condition , than God he is doing a lot better and we have faith and hope the he will get better very soon , but well I still doing some craft because I need to distract myself from all of this . please pray for us I hope you like this card is very easy coloring and is full of happiness and positive energy stay home , created , get to know your family better , love each other , stay safe .
This project is a time consuming , but what we got know is time , and not time to waste , for that reason just take all your felt out and start making this cards they look complicated but they are not , you can make any stamps the you can see is easy to add a part in a 3D dimension, I did like better the small imagenes, but not to small my finger get cramp he he . the big one was easy to make but in the time of gluing was a little bit more complicated , but easy to solve with a stitch in the back of the panel before gluing to the card base . so many stamps that I want to make with this technique the for sure i will make another video with more cards like this ones just stay home and created and have fun with your family , is a time to be together and love each other and try to have patience with our love ones , because I know it can be a little bit crazy sometimes even when we love them so much. I need to figure it out how to place my camera in the kitchen to fill a n apple pie I offer to make in a old post , I will soon hopefully , you will see is the best home made apple pie ever . well stay safe, clean and inside to create and used your imagination .
